Thank you for finding us. We want to bring life to your project, recognizing that most of our clients will only refinish one piece in their lifetime. For 45+ years our family’s shop has been guiding the process, bringing experienced hands to the wood, and finishing pieces to last another generation.
Managing our production through the pandemic has been a juggle - treating our staff and clients with nothing but understanding, patience, respect, transparency and support. We hope you’ll keep that in mind while working with us. We are operating at near maximum capacity for our services most seasons, generally there is a two week queue for incoming work. Please do reach out to us using the estimate button above; follow up with an email of pictures, direction/end goal, & measurements, then we will respond in the order they are received to add your project to our queue. We are always willing to make circumstantial exceptions (moves, losses, home damage, etc.) but in general we keep to the queue. We ask that even drop-offs are by appointment only as we struggle to keep our facility at maximum efficiency while keeping clients at a minimum wait to complete projects.
It is wonderful to be in demand, and we aim to please all the needs of our clients, so we merely ask for patience and kindness. Even responding to simple emails may take a few days, oftentimes we are focused on the projects at hand, on the workbenches. We can’t stress enough that this old world craftwork takes time, and we want you to be thrilled with the outcome.

Hand stripping, hand sanding, custom repair, custom colorization, sealing and personalized top-coat finishing for each piece is overseen, and worked on by family members that have grown up at the shop. Our 4th generation is in training!
